Tudela FC Los Angeles is excited to welcome new coach, Vijay Dias.
The Montana native played at the college level for Indiana from 2000-2003. Dias helped the Hoosiers win a national championship in 2003. As a sophomore in 2001, Dias helped Indiana reach the national championship match after reaching the national semifinals as a freshman in 2000.
Dias joined the Montana coaching staff for the 2011-12 seasons as a volunteer assistant before playing professionally in India during 2013. In 2014, he returned to coaching at Carroll College, and later Northern Arizona in 2015 before returning to play one more season in Spain.
Dias was also a coach for Stanford Women's Soccer in 2017, where he was part of a staff that led Stanford to a PAC-12 Championship and an NCAA National Championship.
"It was extremely important to bring someone in who is aligned with our style of play and also in regards to every session. He doesn't just have that mentality as a coach, he is also someone who lived it in his playing career." - Jacob Tudela.
